Tokyo high court rejects appeal by former Taiwan sex slaves
TOKYO, Japan - Four out of a group of seven women from Taiwan meet the press in Tokyo on Feb. 9 after the Tokyo High Court rejected their appeal for an official apology from the Japanese government and a total of 70 million yen in damages for having been forced to provide sex for the Japanese military before and during World War II.
