Renovated Kintaikyo Bridge opens to public
YAMAGUCHI, Japan - People stroll across the Kintaikyo Bridge, a popular tourist spot in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, on March 20 following a ceremony to mark the completion of renovation work on the bridge, which was originally built in 1673. The work started in November 2001 and cost some 2.6 billion yen.
