(1)Zico axes boozing players from Japan squad
TOKYO, Japan - Japan coach Zico speaks at a news conference on March 19 after naming his 23-man squad to play in the 2006 World Cup Asian zone Group 3 qualifier away to Singapore on March 31. Eight players who indulged in a drinking binge and acted improperly during a training camp were dropped from the national team.
