JCP lawmaker to quit party post for failure to pay pension premiums
TOKYO, Japan - Hidekatsu Yoshii (fore), a senior House of Representatives member of the Japanese Communist Party, walks out after giving a press conference in the Diet building May 6. He admitted that he has not paid pension premiums for more than 15 years and will quit the post of vice chairman of the Diet affairs committee in the party's lower house caucus.
