Top court rules in favor of popular cartoonist over libelous remark
TOKYO, Japan - Cartoonist Yoshinori Kobayashi speaks at a press conference on July 15 after the Supreme Court dismissed an earlier court ruling ordering him to pay 2.5 million yen in damages and issue an apology to a Japanese college teacher who claimed his character was defamed by Kobayashi's referral to him as a ''thief.''
