FUJIYOSHIDA, Japan - Mt. Fuji, the highest peak in Japan, turns reddish in the morning glow on Aug. 2. Generally referred to as ''Aka Fuji'' (red Fuji), it is believed to be an auspicious phenomenon by locals.
