TOKYO, Japan - Lawmakers of the opposition Democratic Party of Japan hold a meeting in Tokyo on Aug. 4 to oppose a one-league professional baseball system prompted by the planned merger between the Orix BlueWave and Kintetsu Buffaloes in the Pacific League.
