Chinese poison gas victim describes suffering
TOKYO, Japan - Feng Jiayuan, fourth grader at an elementary school in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, wipes her tears at a press conference in Tokyo on Aug. 20. The 11-year-old Chinese girl described the suffering she has endured since poison gas leaked from chemical weapons abandoned by the former Imperial Japanese Army in northeastern China at the end of World War II. Her mother called on the Japanese government for an apology.
