ARLINGTON, United States - Seattle Mariners leadoff batter Ichiro Suzuki his a two-run single to center, his season's 250th, in the fourth inning of a game against the Texas Rangers at Ameriquest Field in Arlington on Sept. 25. Ichiro went 1-for-5 with 2 RBIs and needs seven more hits in eight remaining games to match George Sisler's MLB single-season record of 257. The Rangers won 5-4. (MLB)
