(1)Mitsubishi firms vow safety on anniversary of fatal accident

TOKYO, Japan - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. workers observe a minute of silent prayer on Oct. 19, the second anniversary of a fatal accident in Yamaguchi Prefecture involving a defective Mitsubishi truck. Mitsubishi Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp., whose defective trucks led to the deaths of two people in Yokohama and Yamaguchi Prefecture, have decided to mark the anniversaries of their deaths by remembering the victims and pledging safety.
