(1)Classes partially resume at schools in quake-hit Niigata
NIIGATA, Japan - About 200 students of Ojiya Municipal Nishi Senior High School, or less than 40 percent of the school's student body, in the quake-hit town of Ojiya, Niigata Prefecture, show up for classes Nov. 1, 10 days after a series of powerful quakes started pummeling the Chuetsu region. Furniture and equipment in the school remain damaged.
