Japan, Tanzania agree on need to reform U.N.

TOKYO, Japan - Tanzanian President Benjamin Mkapa (R) is greeted by Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi on arrival at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Dec. 7. The two leaders agreed to work closely on reforming the United Nations as nonpermanent members of its Security Council in 2005-2006.
