Iraqi boy's 2nd eye operation ends successfully
MITAKA, Japan - Tetsuo Hida, professor of Kyorin University who conducted an eye operation on Mohamad Haytham Saleh, a 10-year-old Iraqi boy, shakes hands with the boy's uncle after the operation ended in a success on Dec. 14. The boy had his left eye badly injured during a military clash in Iraq. ''Although I am not sure to what extent he will regain his eyesight, he is now able to wear a contact lens,'' Hida said.
