Zico forced to ring changes for Germany friendly

YOKOHAMA, Japan - Japan coach Zico speaks to reporters in Yokohama on Dec. 15, the eve of a friendly match between Japan and Germany at International Stadium Yokohama on Dec. 16. Zico has been forced to reshuffle his pack for the match in the wake of a spate of injuries to first-team defenders. ''It's a shame that these players are injured. We thought (defender Yuji) Nakazawa might be okay. Unfortunately that is not the case but we just have to make the best of what we've got,'' Zico said.
