Denney Tomori ready to make plunge with Red Sox

TOKYO, Japan - Right-hander Denney Tomori, who has reached a basic agreement on a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox, poses at a press conference in a Tokyo hotel on Jan. 30. Tomori said he is ready to make a fresh start as he aims to play in the majors for the fabled ball club.
