(2)Group unveils artificial muscle that works like fingers

KYOTO, Japan - An artificial hand using a human-like material that is capable of holding objects like real fingers holds a plastic bottle. Nobutaka Tsujiuchi, a professor of mechanical dynamics at Doshisha University, and the Kyoto-based software development company Squse developed the artificial muscle, probably the world's smallest.
