JAL to accelerate job cuts under new management plan

TOKYO, Japan - Japan Airlines Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Isao Kaneko speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on March 10. The holding company of the JAL group said it will accelerate job reductions under a new three-year management plan designed to overcome difficult business environments such as higher crude oil prices and weak demand for flight services.
