TOYOTA, Japan - Some 1,700 new hires at Toyota Motor Corp. attends their initiation ceremony at a gymnasium in the city of Toyota, Aichi Prefecture on April 1. About 800,000 new high school and college graduates started their new lives as workers across Japan at the start of the new fiscal year.
