NTT DoCoMo to introduce 5 new mobile handsets in June

TOKYO, Japan - NTT DoCoMo Inc. said May 17 it will launch five new handsets in June for its FOMA third-generation mobile phone services. The new 901iS series will feature electronic money services and allow users to browse document files and switch to the television-mode during a voice call. Each model is expected to sell for around 35,000 yen.

DCMX mini, to be launched on April 28, will offer a monthly credit limit of 10,000 yen, while full-scale DCMX services, allowing subscribers to carry out bigger transactions by using their phones and credit cards, are expected to begin in late May.
