NTT DoCoMo to launch own credit card services in late April

TOKYO, Japan - NTT DoCoMo Inc. said April 4 it will launch its own mobile phone-based credit card (put up on the left) services in late April to strengthen its status as Japan's top mobile phone operator. There will be two plans for NTT DoCoMo's new DCMX credit card services. DCMX mini, to be launched on April 28, will offer a monthly credit limit of 10,000 yen, while full-scale DCMX services, allowing subscribers to carry out bigger transactions by using their phones and credit cards, are expected to begin in late May.
