Japan's Yanai elected as judge of int'l tribunal for sea law

NEW YORK, United States - Former Japanese Vice Foreign Minister Shunji Yanai holds a news conference in New York on June 22 as he was elected the same day as one of the judges of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea which adjudicates disputes involving ocean space as well as its uses and resources.
