Fukui says economy 'almost' emerged from lull

TOKYO, Japan - Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui speaks at a press conference at the end of the central bank's two-day Policy Board meeting on Aug. 9. He said the Japanese economy has ''almost'' pulled out of a pause as adjustments in information technology-related sectors are close to end.
