Seiko Watch, Kose to jointly push sales using Korean pop singer BoA

TOKYO, Japan - Seiko Watch Corp. and Kose Corp. said Oct. 11 they will wage a joint marketing campaign for their respective products -- wristwatches and cosmetics -- using pop singer BoA (in publicity poster) as the face of the campaign. Starting in early November, the two will have retailers put up posters featuring the popular Korean singer wearing a Seiko wristwatch and made up with Kose cosmetics, the companies said.

        New digital radio broadcasting services to be tested

        TOKYO, Japan - An marketing assistant holds a receiver for ticket sales and music-downloading services linked to terrestrial digital radio broadcasting which Telecom carrier KDDI Corp. and Tokyo FM Broadcasting Co. will launch on a trial basis. The two companies said March 3 will conduct trials for these new services at Tokyo Tower for three days from March 4, using a prototype mobile receiver developed jointly by the two companies and Tokyo-based electronics firm Vitec Co.
