Korean residents lose appeal to seek disability benefits
OSAKA, Japan - Hearing-impaired Korean residents of Japan head to the Osaka High Court on Oct. 27. The court threw out an appeal filed by seven Korean residents who sought redress for being refused disability pensions even after a nationality clause was removed from the National Pension Law.
