Record-chasing Asashoryu off to winning start at Kyushu sumo

FUKUOKA, Japan - Grand champion Asashoryu (R) made a winning start in his bid for an unprecedented seventh straight Emperor's Cup, beating fellow Mongolian Hakuho on the opening day of the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament in Fukuoka on Nov. 13.
