Gov't inspects authorized checker in building data scandal

TOKYO, Japan - Officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport enter a building of eHomes Inc. in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward on Nov. 24 to conduct on-site inspections. eHomes was entrusted by the government with checking building plans submitted by an architect who has admitted to falsifying quake-resistance data.
