Annan postpones Asia trip due to 'urgent' issues

NEW YORK, United States - U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan (file photo) has postponed his 14-day Asian visit starting from Dec. 3 due to ''pressing matters,'' including U.N. budget discussions and other ''urgent political issues,'' the United Nations said Dec. 1.
