Ex-Narita airport operator officials arrested over bid-rigging
NARITA, Japan - Masahiko Kurono (L), president of Narita International Airport Corp., bows in apology during a press conference at Narita international airport, northeast of Tokyo, on Dec. 5 after two officials of the New Tokyo International Airport Authority were arrested by prosecutors over alleged bid-rigging in electrical installation projects at the airport. The airport authority is the predecessor of Narita International Airport Corp., launched in April, 2004.
