Nippon Steel to invest 850 billion yen in FY 2006-2008

TOKYO, Japan - Nippon Steel Corp. President Akio Miura tells a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 14 that the company will invest about 850 billion yen from fiscal 2006 to fiscal 2008 to enhance its production capacity for high-grade steels and improve its technological edge.
