Ex-Dragons manager Sadao Kondo dies at 80

TOKYO, Jpaan - Sadao Kondo (file photo taken in 1994), a Hall of Famer who was known for helping establish the division of labor for pitchers and who skippered the Chunichi Dragons and two other teams, dies at a Tokyo hospital on Jan. 2. He was 80.
