S. Korean Foreign Minister Ban to run for top U.N. post
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Ban Ki Moon announces at a news conference in Seoul on Feb. 14 his candidacy for the U.N. Secretary General post to succeed Kofi Annan, whose second five-year term ends at the end of December this year.
