Okinawa Prefecture remains opposed to Futemma relocation plan

TOKYO, Japan - Okinawa Gov. Keiichi Inamine speaks to reporters at Liberal Democratic Party headquarters in Tokyo on March 9 after talks with LDP Secretary General Tsutomu Takebe. He said the Okinawa prefectural government remains opposed to a Japan-U.S. plan to relocate the U.S. Marine Corps Futemma Air Station within the prefecture.
