Japan holding off maritime survey seeking breakthrough with S. Korea

SAKAIMINATO, Japan - Japan Coast Guard survey vessels, on a mission to conduct a maritime survey near the disputed islets in the Sea of Japan, stand by off Sakaiminato, Tottori Prefecture, on April 20 as the government puts off the start of the survey, seeking a breakthrough with South Korea through unofficial talks to head off a confrontation.
