Japan Post punishes 34 officials for huge loss from unfair deal
TOKYO, Japan - Japan Post Executive Officer Tameyasu Tsukada (L) and Shin-etsu Branch Office chief Toshiaki Nagao apologize at a press conference in Tokyo on May 12 after the company has punished 34 of its officials for causing a 2.7 billion yen loss with an unfair bulk mail service deal at its Nagaoka post office in Niigata Prefecture.
