Schindler exec apologizes for insufficient elevator accident info
TOKYO, Japan - Roland Hess (C), head of the escalator and elevator division of Switzerland's Schindler Management Ltd., accompanied by his aides, bows in a gesture of apology during a press conference at a Tokyo hotel on June 2. Hess apologized for the group's failure to provide in a timely fashion information related to the June 3 elevator accident in Tokyo that killed a 16-year-old high school student.
