Koizumi repeats no intent to axe Fukui

TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, in a brief press meeting at his office on June 15, said he is not mulling replacing Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui in relation to his controversial 10 million yen investment in a fund founded by an arrested high-profile financier.
