Public wants tougher BOJ rules, asset disclosure: Abe

TOKYO, Japan - Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe tells reporters at the prime minister's office on June 21 that the Bank of Japan must tighten its in-house regulations and adopt asset disclosure measures to improve transparency as the public is ''critical'' of BOJ chief Toshihiko Fukui's 10 million yen investment in a fund set up by an arrested high-profile financier.
