Toshiba launching HD DVD recorder ahead of Blue-ray alliance

TOKYO, Japan - Two publicity assistants introduce a hard disk video recorder for the high-definition DVD format which Toshiba Corp. will launch on July 17 at a press conference in Tokyo on June 22.
