Lawson opens stores tailored for elderly

AWAJI, Japan - Convenience store operator Lawson Inc. opens one of its outlets tailored for the elderly in Awaji, Hyogo Prefecture, in the first attempt to serve the market segment among convenience store chains. The other outlet is located in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture.
