WTO talks stalled, possible deal postponed until end-July
GENEVA, Switzerland - Japanese Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Shoichi Nakagawa (R) and Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Toshihiro Nikai (L) talk to reporters at a Geneva hotel on July 1 after six major trade powers gave up efforts to break a stalemate in ailing global trade liberalization negotiations under the World Trade Organization and agreed to postpone a possible deal until the end of July.
