Imperial baby named Prince Hisahito
TOKYO, Japan - Prince Akishino, Emperor Akihito's second son, smiles as he alights from a car on arrival at Aiiku Hospital in Tokyo on Sept. 12 to attend a naming ceremony for his first son who was born there on Sept. 6. He named his son Prince Hisahito. The newborn baby is the first heir born to the imperial family in nearly 41 years, standing third in line to the throne after Crown Prince Naruhito, the emperor's eldest son, and Prince Akishino.
