N.Y. Yankees' Matsui back in majors, 1st appearance in 4 months

NEW YORK, United States - New York Yankees' Hideki Matsui tips his hat to the fans as he gets ready to bat in the first inning of a game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Yankee Stadium in New York on Sept. 12. Matsui appeared as a designated and No. 8 hitter in the game, his first appearance in about four months and 111 games, and went 4-for-4 with 1 RBI and 1 walk as the Yankees won 12-4.
