China voices readiness to agree to sanctions against N. Korea
NEW YORK, United States - China's U.N. Ambassador Wang Guangya (R) and British U.N. Ambassador Jones Parry walk to the venue of a U.N. Security Council meeting at the U.N. Headquarters on Oct. 10. Wang later expressed China's readiness to agree to some sanctions against its closest ally, North Korea, for Pyongyang's claim that it has conducted a nuclear test.
