Bangladeshi economist Yunus, Grameen Bank win Nobel Peace Prize

LONDON, Britain - Bangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus (file photo taken in 2001), founder of the Grameen Bank, which gives credit to the poor without collateral, and the bank itself, have been awarded the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize, the Norwegian Nobel Committee announced Oct. 13.
