Japan's Asami tapped to lead OECD's economic panel

TOKYO, Japan - The Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development will appoint former Japanese banker Tadahiro Asami (in file photo) as its secretary general at the end of the year, Japanese government officials said Nov. 10.
