Iranian family's plea for permission to stay in Japan rejected
TOKYO, Japan - Amine Khalil, a 43-year-old Iranian, and his elder daughter Maryam speak to reporters in Tokyo on Dec. 8 after the Justice Ministry denied their application for a special residence permit to continue living in Japan. The ministry extended temporary permission for them.
