Honda expects all-time high global auto sales in 2006
TOKYO, Japan - Honda Motor Co. President Takeo Fukui tells a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 19 that the company expects its worldwide automobile sales to increase 5 percent from a year earlier to an all-time-high 3.55 million units in 2006, supported by strong demand for its fuel-efficient vehicles outside Japan.
