Finance Ministry to propose 82.91 trillion yen budget for FY 2007

TOKYO, Japan - Finance Minister Koji Omi presides over a meeting of his ministry officials called to discuss a draft of the state budget for fiscal 2007 on Dec. 19. The ministry is set to propose a draft budget totaling 82.91 trillion yen, up from 79.69 trillion yen initially projected for the fiscal 2006 budge.
