Singer Izawa, father of actress Yuki Kudo, dies at age 69

TOKYO, Japan - Singer Hachiro Izawa sings his hit tune outside JR Ueno Station in a photo taken in july 2003. Izawa, the father of actress Yuki Kudo who has starred in numerous international films, died of esophagus cancer at a hospital in Tokyo on Jan. 17, his office said on Jan. 18. He was 69.
