MIYAZAKI, Japan - New Miyazaki Gov. Hideo Higashikokubaru, or Sonomamma Higashi, his stage name, is welcomed by prefectural office staffers on Jan. 23 as he appears there after winning the Jan. 21 gubernatorial election.
